Q3 2010 Financial Results
When Intel reports calendar Q4, the 3 months ended December, financial results on January 13, Intel should hopefully at least slightly beat various Q3 results. These financial results are charted on the Intel Financial Performance page. Intel Q3, the 3 months ended September, financial results were:
Total Revenues $11.1B
Gross Profit $7.3B
Operating Income $4.1B
Net Income $2.9B
Net Income - Diluted Share $0.52
Gross Profit Margin 65.94%
Operating Income Margin 37.25%
Net Income Margin 26.62%
Summary
In 2010, Q2 and Q3 were very good quarters and Q4 is expected to be slightly better. Therefore, for Q4, Intel should slightly beat Q3 on Total Revenues, Gross Profit, Operating Income, Net Income, and Net Income - Diluted Share. Intel should also just slightly beat Q3 on Gross Profit Margin, Operating Income Margin, and Net Income Margin. A small miss on a couple of these financial metrics, other than Earnings per Share, would not be surprising or be considered very negative. The detailed quarter by quarter charts are on the Intel Financial Performance page.
